Belle was a foundeing member of DMEB - the orginal and wonderful DMEB-1. She knows how much work there is in maintaining a site like this. The formatting of stories, the beta-reading, editing for typos and grammar, yet she has enjoyed every minute.

Belle's writing serves as an escape valve, and she says; "I write from my heart and my experiences."

But why write about Maul? Again, Belle replies; "Something intrigued me about Maul from the moment he appeared on the balcony with Sidious. My admiration grew with every appearance (although I wept when he skewered Qui-Gon, for the Jedi Master also captured my heart) and I felt robbed when Obi-Wan sliced him in half. I found DMEB when I did a search for Darth Maul, trying to find more information about him. The place fascinated me. Here were stories extrapolating his origins, his character and I felt very much at home."
