Cynthia Griffith is one of the better known Darth Maul illustrators. She is a professional artist and draws Maul for her own pleasure. On her web-site she states that she loves lots of colours and that drawing and painting Maul is a “blast.” Cynthia has her own web-site DarthCynthia.com which contains a lot more of her terrific Maul images and drawings.

In 2001 we conducted an Interview with Darth Cynthia, which you can read in our Features Section. We here at the DMEB-2 look forward to many more illustrations by Cynthia in the future.

This is a gouache painting, the second one Cynthia has ever made. There was also some airbrush used on the lightsabre.

Cynthia uses a variety of materials in creating her images. And while none of the images are ever exactly the same - her style is unique.
