The Second Annual DMEB-2 Dinner at Dragon*Con! Wow! What a turn-out! Over 50 people attended (We DMEBers were sadly outnumbered by troopers!... not that we really minded!). Good food (courtesy Steak and Ale Restaurant) - especially the desserts - and good company made the dinner one to remember!

Again, we were quickly escorted upstairs (out of sight - out of mind?). We chose to ignore the strange looks and stares from the other patrons as well as the muffled giggles from the staff of the restaurant.

Thanks to our Mistress of Ceremonies, Savage, the evening ran pretty smoothly despite a few snags along the way. We hope that everyone enjoyed their gift bags and DMEB-2 Badges! The "Open-Toed-Shoe" Contest was a big hit! (Thanks Lord Gita, TK-Vin Diesel and The Bush-Master! We appreciate all the suffering you had to endure and the torture you went through to find the sexiest set of shoes! There's $1.50 left for any psychiatric help you may need!). Congratulations to MaryCheetah for winning the contest! She swear's it was the red toenails and black shoes that won the judges over!

After the dessert was served we had the final raffle! A "spur-of-the-moment" sort of thing as the same MaryCheetah forgot to bring the raffle tickets! Congratulations to whomever won (Sorry - I didn't get your name!) hope you enjoy the Darth Maul and 501st goodies!

The dinner was over all too soon - but we all had a terrific time, THANKS to our wonderful guests from all over the world and our 501st friends from the Florida, Georgia and the Mid-West Garrisons!
